My intent for this suite of My Sisters’ House is to provide a safe and comfortable place for the young mothers to call home. This will be done by keeping in mind the original intent of our group as well as by, allowing form to follow function. The space is limited so therefore the primary functions of the spaces will lead to the form of the space, and the objects within the space. The bedrooms are small and intended for sleeping, encouraging the mothers to use the common areas and maintain a sense of community.
