preliminary thoughts.

in these preliminary drawings for the CNNC building i focused on the entryway and was looking at different ways to guide a visitor into the correct entry. the beams overhead direct the visitor from lee street to the community entrance. in the bottom two drawings the entrance is much more like a home entrance with steps that lead to the door and angled beams overhead. within this experimentation of how to lead the visitors to the correct entryway the experimentation with the beams also presented an oportunity to think about how the two vaulted spaces were connected.
